From the Garden

I love to garden and I love to eat! You’ll find delicious meals that boost health and vibrancy. Everything is made fresh from my organic garden or as locally and sustainably sourced as possible.

Fresh & Organic

How food is grown or raised can have a major impact on mental and emotional health as well as the environment. Organic foods usually have more beneficial nutrients, such as antioxidants, than their conventionally-grown counterparts and people with allergies often find their symptoms lessen or go away when they eat only organic foods.

You’ll encounter mindful eating and an opportunity to bring a sense of joy and curiosity to your eating experience.

Guest Chef: Lisa Fennimore

A native of New Jersey, Lisa earned a Bachelor of Music in Education with a minor in Gender Studies from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey). She then moved to Vermont and taught K-6 music in Danby while progressing up the ranks cooking in restaurants throughout Windham County, VT. In 2006 she quit teaching music to focus on cooking, and in 2010, earned a BA in Restaurant and Hotel Management from the New England Culinary Institute. She did this while co-authoring a cookbook of healthy recipes, as well as one of the nation’s most popular healthy lifestyle blogs.
